Shireen Dhar

Shireen Dhar advises clients on a broad range of Intellectual Property matters, with expertise spanning the full lifecycle of IP rights, from due diligence, IP audits, and filing strategies to the management of complex international trademark portfolios. Her practice includes trademark prosecution, oppositions, invalidation actions, and enforcement proceedings, helping clients protect and strengthen their intellectual property across multiple jurisdictions.

She also provides transactional IP support in corporate structuring, franchising, licensing, and mergers and acquisitions. With particular experience in geographical indications (GIs), Shireen advises on protection strategies, recognition, enforcement, and portfolio management across India and GCC jurisdictions. She assists clients in developing regional filing strategies and enforcement plans for geographically linked brands and products.

As a key member of the Firm’s full-service Intellectual Property practice, Shireen works collaboratively across disciplines to deliver practical, commercially focused, and internationally aligned solutions. She is also an active contributor to the IP community through INTA publications, guest lectures, mentorship programmes, and speaking engagements at national and international forums, promoting innovation, creativity, and effective intellectual property protection.
